Pomeroy Cup 125

The trophy is one that Jim won in 1970 for the CMC 1970 Western Canada Championship.

Eligible motorcycles.
125cc motorcycles up thru 1974 model year and like design 1975 models.

Like design 1975 models include:
1975 Bultaco
1975 Can-Am 125 TNT
1975 Honda CR125
1975 Kawasaki KX125
1975 Suzuki TM100, TM125
1975 Yamaha YZ125, MX125

And…must be
1) Air-cooled
2) Drum braked
3) Suspension travel no greater than 7″ in front and 4″ in rear
4) 2 stroke displacement limit = 125cc
5) 4 stroke displacement limit = 150cc

The trophy is one that Ron Pomeroy won in 1971 as a 250 Expert.

Eligible motorcycles.
250cc motorcycles up thru 1974 model year and like design 1975 models.

And…must be
1) Air-cooled
2) Drum braked
3) Suspension travel no greater than 7″ in front and 4″ in rear
4) 2 stroke displacement limit = 250cc
5) 4 stroke displacement limit = 275cc

Protests
After 2nd moto, top 5 bikes go directly to tech area where they will remain for 30 minutes.
This is the time for protest. No protests will be allowed after 30 minutes have elapsed.
Protester puts up $100, along with their written allegation.
If inspection shows the protested bike is legal, protester loses their $100.
If inspection shows the protested motorcycle is illegal, the motorcycle is disqualified.
In that case, the protester gets $50 back. The other $50 goes to Pomeroy Cup fund
